Chrome in the Shadows
The smart/mobile phone finally becomes the center of a person personal area network. It provides connectivity to the net and serves as the connection point for all other electronics a person has. While many models still have a screen, with the evolution of eye wear and contacts that allow for the display of information from the phone the latest models are losing the screen and becoming a device that you wear behind your ear. This convergence allows for the wearable tech, communications and other technology a person carries to communicate with each other and the outside world.
